Sony not using their market lead to create compelling multiplayer games is a big mistake. They have practically spend this whole gen with 0 compelling multiplayer games.
The thing is Sony have no Devs to create a great multiplayer game. They have actually closed down the Zipper interactive which was one dev that could have made something unique for them. Obviously Sony fans didn’t care about them because they were focused of shooter and multiplayer.
With Jim Ryan in charge of SIE, you can tell that Sony is starting to get with the trends and rejuvenate their online presence. The truth is Sony is what MS is to single player.
