If anyone needed further proof that “too much” and “pickup” no longer belong in the same sentence, Texas tuner John Hennessey has created the 2019 Hennessey Heritage F-150, a supercharged 758-hp Ford pickup with a starting price of $94,950. Based on the 2019 Ford Platinum F-150 Crew Cab, the Hennessey Performance package plays on the red-and-white markings of the 1967 Ford GT40 Mk IV that Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt drove to victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Hennessey used the F-150’s 5.0-liter V-8 engine and added a 2.9-liter supercharger, high-flow air intake, a cat-back exhaust system and upgraded fuel components to raise engine output and deliver 660 pound-feet of torque. Hennessey will limit the production run to 19 trucks.
