It sounds that CD used the #WontBeErased in support of sexual liberty in the face of a presidential administration gone crazy over genitals. This isn’t the real issue though as GOG latched onto the tag to promote its site which seems a lot less noble even if the poster truly wanted to show GOG’s support for the trans community. They deleted it so perhaps the saw how linking a sale to this campaign could have unintended reactions. Nothing to really see here.
