The Razer Phone 2 U.S. release date has been set for October 22. Razer has had the phone available for pre-order since October 11, but it quietly confirmed when the device would start shipping only this week (spotted by Phone Arena).
The release date is set on both the official Razer website and the Microsoft website where you can order the phone for $799. Neither store offers an additional extra to sweeten the deal, but shipping is free, and Razer says it should take 2 to 4 days to arrive if you order via its website.
This means people who preorder could get the phone as soon as October 24, though it’s possible you’ll get it in your hands slightly earlier (that kind of thing isn’t unheard of).
To recap, the Razer Phone 2 comes with several upgrades compared to the original Razer Phone, including a Snapdragon 845 processor, a new camera setup with sensors made by Sony, and water resistance. It also keeps most of what was loved about the original phone, including its 120Hz display and 8GB RAM.
