Of course people want to see this on other systems, but that simply isn’t going to happen because of Sony funding this game, owning the rights to the Movie franchise and Disney wanting Spidey in the MCU, so no Spidey PlayStation exclusivity would have meant no Spiderman in Avengers Infinity War, Captain America CW, etc.
The exclusivity of this game is the product of Disney wanting PlayStation’s Market Strength and game publishing prowess and Insomniac’s Development capabilities.
The character rights and Marvel wanting the franchise to be taken as seriously as possible and Sony being in that mix of truly caring about the properties they own has everything to do with this.
