FCA sets 2019 Ram 1500 prices from $33,340

Production of the redesigned 2019 Ram 1500 started in January at FCA US’s Sterling Heights Assembly plant in Michigan.

Base pricing for the redesigned 2019 Ram 1500 will start at $33,340, including delivery — a price that will place the pickup, in its lowest-priced configuration, $1,350 more than the 2018 model, which will remain in production through the rest of 2018.

The lowest priced model is a two-wheel-drive quad-cab Tradesman model, equipped with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine, and is one of 29 different configurations that Ram released pricing for on Tuesday.

Pricing for the top-end model, a 4×4 2019 Ram 1500 Limited equipped with a 5.7-liter V-8 engine, will start at $59,335, including delivery, Ram said. That compares to a similarly equipped 2018 model at $58,170.

Production of the redesigned 2019 Ram 1500 started in January at FCA US’s Sterling Heights Assembly plant in Michigan and is expected to begin showing up on dealer lots within the next several weeks. The 2018 Ram 1500, which is being built at the Warren Truck Assembly plant about 10 miles away, is scheduled to remain in production throughout 2018, primarily to serve as a fleet vehicle and value play for dealers.
