Audi’s industry-best streak of year-over-year monthly sales gains reached 100 consecutive months, with deliveries rising 12 percent to 15,451 on the continued strength of its A5 sedan and the Q3 and Q5 crossovers.
Notable nameplates: Audi Q5 up 36%; Audi A5 up 467%; Audi Q3 up 46%; VW Passat down 50%; VW Golf family down 38%; VW Jetta down 43%; VW Atlas (new), 4,766 sales; VW Tiguan (redesigned), 7,486 sales.
Incentives (including Porsche): $3,589 per vehicle, up 3.3% from a year earlier, according to ALG.
Average transaction price (including Porsche): $34,325, up 5.1% from a year earlier, ALG says.
