Crosstrek helps pad U.S. streak to 75 months

The redesigned Subaru Crosstrek continues to deliver results for Subaru of America, with the automaker producing 75 straight months of year-over-year sales increases.

Despite only the Outback and Crosstrek posting gains, last month’s total U.S. sales were the best February ever for the brand.

Total sales: 47,249, a 3.8 percent increase.

Notable nameplates: Outback, up 4%, Forester, off 9.2%, Crosstrek, up 61%, Impreza ,down 12%, WRX/STI, down 10%, Legacy, off 15% and BRZ down 22%.

Incentives: $1,356 per vehicle, up 51 percent from a year earlier, according to ALG.

Average transaction price: $27,822, down 0.2 percent from a year earlier, ALG says.
