Honor has launched the Honor 7X Android Oreo update beta program in Spain, Germany and Italy. The news arrives from XDA Developers, which says Honor is also considering rolling out the beta in other territories.
To get involved, you’ll need to join the program through the dedicated app (links below) and log-in with your Huawei ID. You should see the beta available in personal > join the project once you’re inside and you’ll receive the beta firmware via an OTA update.
France is also said to be among the nations where the beta is currently rolling out, though some commenters suggest it isn’t available there yet; we’ll leave the link below in case it goes live shortly.
EMUI 8.0 is the latest software skin developed by Huawei—Honor’s parent company. It comes with typical Oreo features like picture-in-picture mode, notification dots, new emojis etc, as well as Huawei’s own performance improvements and optimizations.
