- Another image of what may be a prototype for the upcoming Huawei P20 has leaked, via Evan Blass.
- The image shows two rear cameras for the phone, in a vertical design.
- The new image also shows what appears to be a notch on the top front display.
We are just over a month away from the official announcement for the Huawei P20, but leaks of possible prototypes for the highly anticipated flagship phone continue to pop up. The latest comes from noted Internet gadget leaker Evan “@evleaks” Blass on his Twitter account.
The image in Blass’ post shows that this prototype has two rear cameras in a vertical design set-up. This is different than the images of another Huawei P20 prototype that Android Authority posted last week, which showed the two rear cameras in a horizontal design, similar in look to the previous Huawei P10 phone.
The other major change in Blass’ Huawei P20 prototype image is that there is a notch on top of the front display for the front camera setup. This is, of course, similar to the notch found on the iPhone X. The front of this prototype also shows very little bezel on the top and sides of the phone, and what looks like on-screen buttons on the bottom.
There are rumors that one member of the Huawei P20 family, perhaps the P20 Pro, could have as many as three rear cameras, and those rumors have been fueled by the company’s own media invites to its March 27 press event for the phone, which spells out “more” as “mooore”. An earlier report by Blass claims the P20’s rear camera setup could be as high as 40 MP, with 5x hybrid zoom, along with a 24 MP front-facing camera.
In the meantime, what do you think of this latest leak of the alleged Huawei P20 prototype?
