Fans love when members of ”the original team” take part in development. There is some point to it since the oldies know the series better than some newbies and can keep the spirit of the original.
BTW, if you are going to play Bloodlines 2, you should try the first one. It’s buggy, has horrible combat, but the quests, dialogues, characters – my,oh my. That’s brilliant.
