Exclusives is great for a platform, timed exclusives not so much if that is what will be happening. Also Valve has features and refund policies I don’t believe other stores have. I do think Valve should give a better % for games but honestly I really don’t care what profit a game company gets, I do not want 5 different game launches that I would only play one game from them. Example I totally forgot I have (free) watchdogs 2 because I don’t use the ubisoft one, actually uninstalled it recently. And about the exclusives if the store does not sell as many copies because being on a different launcher does the percentage really matter than? That is something we will have to wait and see.
With all that said I am happy Valve has some competition now because I hope it makes Valve improve their…. business or Steam store. I do think they got lazy or just keep scraping things cause they have ridiculous standards. Time will tell.
