It is no surprise that those that support closed-platforms would have a closed-minded mentality. They’ve been conditioned that way. I am for bringing down as many barriers down as possible. No one gives a sh^t what the defining features of next-gen are because there’s never a sole reason for success. It’s about the whole package.

There are standards that need to be met. BC is a must so your library does not become redundant as you migrate to new hardware. I’m not for stacking consoles. There are limited HDMI ports. Most people trade the old hardware for the new.

You are already paying to pay online and yet you would mouth off against the possibility of playing with gamers on other platforms. One copy of a game and you have access to gamers on other platforms. That’s another barrier down. Saves you buying additional copies and hardware to play with friends or new friends that may not have the same hardware as you do. Everything about that is pro gamer.

But but this is not required to be first place or market leader in the console warz.
